Swimming Auckland-Northland Working Groups
The Auckland-Northland region is very fortune to call on the expertise of some of our experienced volunteers and coaches to operate our Working Groups.

The Auckland-Northland region is very fortune to call on the expertise of some of our experienced volunteers and coaches to operate the following Working Groups - Competitive Swimming Group, Technical Group and Technology Group. They enhance the smooth running of the region and assist us with the delivery of our high quality meets.
Additionally, we have an Awards Committee comprised of veterans of our community, who are responsible for recognising those who have given greatly to our sport within the region.
Competitive Swimming Group
This groups main function is to provide competition and development packages to cater for the various pathways for the different levels of swimming, which will broaden the scope and improve the standards of swimming in Auckland.

Technical Group
The Technical Group is appointed to foster and educate technical officials to a high standard to assist our swimmers in obtaining their goals. The group ensures that the meets are run in conjunction with FINA, SNZ and ASA rules and encourages volunteers from the various swimming clubs to become technical officials.

Technology Group
This group is responsible for the efficient and effective running of Championship and interclub events and to ensure that the scoreboard and electronic timing equipment is fully functional at all times.

Awards Committee
The Awards Committee adjudicate on or make recommendations for Life Membership and other ASA Awards. It is also responsible for recommendations to SNZ concerning applications for National Awards on behalf of members of ASA.
